Thank you to all the schools that visited us for our third year - see you again next June!

Organised by Cwmn'ir Bwa (Company of the Bow).

Groups from local Primary schools visit mornings and afternoons, to learn about medieval life. Activities can include archery, military history, toys and games, writing, cookery, manners & health. All tailored to appropriate key stage requirements.

Tewkesbury Medieval Festival

A grand annual festival, with extensive medieval market and entertainments. The highlight is the large-scale re-enactment of the battle of Tewkesbury (1471), in which we shall bring our guns to bear upon the enemies of our noble Lord!

Organised by Cwmn'ir Bwa (Company of the Bow). Medieval archery, both military and civilian at the birthplace of Henry Tudor. Watch period-style competitions, displays of warbow technique and martial training. Crafts and trades associated with archery, and a living history camp showing how the archer lived.

Children and young people can try their hand at archery under expert tuition, and learn about an archer's life with our treasure hunt!

Learn about life on campaign during the Wars of the Roses. Full living history encampment, with medieval cookery, crafts, games and pastimes; fighting with sword, dagger and polearm; demonstrations of 15th Century artillery: longbow, crossbow, arquebus, pole gun, and muzzle- and breech-loading cannon. Plenty to interest adults and children alike!

Visit the museum's galleries to learn about the town's history, then join us in our camp to experience some of the sights and sounds of domestic life in medieval Bewdley. Cooking and eating, crafts and trades, music and dancing, and maybe even some military drill and a gun or two!

Members assist with staffing this large annual fayre, which takes place within Ludlow Castle and the adjacent marketplace. Medieval crafts, music and entertainments, as well as 21st Century gifts.
